I just had a question about buying new Ignition/BNS style DDR pads. I've been playing for a long time, and am heading off to college in another few weeks (across the country, which makes transport difficult). I'm not going to worry about my CF-it would be too much of a pain to ship, but I'd like to get two foam pads. I would bring my own, but they're just too old and beat up to have much of a hope of surviving shipment-so-what I'm getting at, finally. Do you guys know which foam pads are the best now? And also, where could I get cheap ones? (I'm looking to get two, and I really don't want to spend more than $80 or $90, but I'm not sure this is possible).

Thanks :)

I use the Red Octane foam pads. For 80$ (and cheaper when you find them on sale), they are just unbeatable for their cost vs. quality.

I have an Ignition 3.0, incalculable failure. A few weeks after I got it the tough panels under the arrows slid into the center, and there's no way you can push them back. The right and back arrows fire off randomly and there are wrinkles in that thing that still haven't come out yet D: I don't know how that pad gets such great reviews, it's pretty crappy.

I guess the lesson is your milage will very with DDR pads. I have no problems at all with my Ignition pad, but on the other hand, I am probably one of the least satisfied Cobalt Flux owners there ever was.
